Upcoming HAP and CHPRE Seminar Series

The second of the four HAP and CHPRE seminar series will be on Thursday, October 6, at the Johnson Center, 3rd floor, Room F from 3:00-4:00 pm. Dr.Joy Grossman from the Center for Studying Health System Change will present “If You Build It, Will They Come? Physician Use of Health IT to Access Patient Data from Other Sources.” On Thursday, November 10th, at the Johnson Center, in room E, from 3:00-400 pm, Dr. Lorens Helmchen, faculty in the Department of Health Administration and Policy Department will present on “A Cure for Defensive Medicine? The Effect of a “Disclosure-and-Offer” Program on Inpatient Mortality, Length of Stay and Charges”. The last HAP and CHPRE seminar series will be on Thursday, December 8, at the Johnson Center, 3rd floor, Room F. The presenter will be Dr. Alison Cuellar, who is also faculty at the Department of Health Administration and Policy. Dr. Cuellar’s presentation will cover “An Inside View of Health Policy Making.”
